● SEIKOH GIKEN SFP-560A3C Polishing Machine Function Introduction

Q: What is the different among SFP-560A3C, last generation SFP-560A2C-SP1 and next generation SFP-560A3C-FA?
A: Generally, A2 series（including SFP-560A2C-SP1）is polisher without communication function, A3 series（including SFP-560A3C and SFP-560A3C-FA）is polisher with communication function. A3 series can communicate with PC or PLC via Ethernet hub using Modbus TCP/IP method. Customer can create polishing program in polisher and upstream to master PC, or downstream polishing process to certain polisher. In the meantime, master PC can connected to MES system for data like fixture P/N, S/N, operator info, work order #, polisher operation status like running ON/OFF, selected process , running time and etc.

In other word, if you need communication function, select A3 series , including SFP-560A3C and SFP-560A3C-FA。 If you do not need communication function, select A2 series , including SFP-560A2C-SP1.

Difference between SFP-560A3C and SFP-560A3C-FA is latest model SFP-560A3C-FA with origin return function , this is for automation development for the future. Even all A2 series and A3 series are developed for the automation purpose, but with SFP-560A3C-FA, robot is much easier to grab rubber/glass pad. Richen has also has its AutoPolish automation

Q: Can SFP-560A3C share previous polishing fixtures I bought even for SFP-550 series？
A: Yes. All 560 series can share fixtures for 550 series. There are two polishing mode in 560 series , IPC and DPC, IPC is for previous IPC version of fixtures, while DPC is for latest version of fixed type of fixtures. Just select the right operating mode will be fine.
